Bio

...Influenced by a wide range of musical genres including Jazz, Rock and Gospel, Sam engages his audiences with memorable melodies and an expressiveness all his own. His music not only reflects his nature, but reveals his most vulnerable and sincere emotions. Writing music is his form of expression, and he writes with the intent that anyone who hears it will be able to relate in some way or another.

Receiving his B.M. in performance from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Sam relocated to Nashville TN. where he began doing session dates and working with legendary songwriter Otis Blackwell (Don’t be cruel, All shook up ...)  Sam is also a member of BMI, GMA and the Songwriters Guild.

“I’ve been searching for a way to tell my own story, both as a singer/songwriter and as a piano player,” Sam says from his home in Pittsburgh. “I’ve found a calling in melodic instrumental and contemporary Christian music that completes that search, everything just falls into place and the music flows effortlessly.”
